Now that festival season is heading our way, it’s time to start chatting about our favourite time of year. Each week, we’re going to be sharing our favourite festival picks of what’s coming up in 2019, as and when line-ups are released. Here’s our first selection!

This year’s line-up for Coachella seems to have a power line-up, and we recommend going to all of it… but if, like us, you are UK based and don’t plan on taking a flight to your festival, then here are our first picks from festivals that we’re buzzing about this summer.

Florence & The Machine at British Summer Time in Hyde Park

BST is always a favourite festival of ours for summery July afternoons sitting in a field with a beer. With previous guests including a historical duo with the legends themselves, Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty, the festival proves itself again to have some of the hottest names this summer, our favourite being Florence and the Machine, next to Lykke Li and The National in Saturday 13th July!

Lana Del Rey at Latitude

We’ve heard mixed reviews on Lana Del Rey’s live performances… But as a theatrical queen of intricate, nostalgic lyrics and references, we want to see what it’s all about. Lana Del Rey will be headlining the third day of Latitude festival on the 21st July, in Henham Park, Suffolk. We want to know if those dreamy, moody flavours will translate from the record player to the field.

Reading and Leeds

As on brand as possible, the Reading and Leeds line-up is (yet again) incredibly male-dominated this year, but you’ll find some exquisite girl power spliced in between, with star of 20gayteen Hayley Kioko, and a strong collection of our faves King Princess, Chvrches, Billie Eilish, and Charlie XCX. Main headliners include Foo Fighters, The 1975, Post Malone, and Twenty One Pilots across the three days to name a few.

Stay tuned for more of our suggestions as we highlight the acts we’re most looking forward to seeing this summer! We’ll be announcing these weekly, so stick around! In the mean time, who are you most looking forward to seeing? Let us know!
